VISUMOFMy vault

Privacy notice · draft, Oct 22, 2026

Short on purpose.

What we collect

Photos and short clips of you that you add, request from a business, or take with the guide. The date and device model from each photo. Tags you type (service, body area, place). We remove location data from every photo before it is stored anywhere.

Biometric data, said plainly

To line your photos up and measure your own change over time, we measure the shape of your face from your photos. That is biometric data under laws such as Illinois BIPA. We use it only to measure your own change. We never sell it, lease it, or profit from it, and we never use it to identify you to anyone else.

Where it lives right now

Your vault is stored on your own device, in your browser's storage. Your photos are not uploaded unless you turn on backup (Settings → add your email). Backup copies your photos, tags, dates, notes and requests to a private vault on our servers (Google Firebase, United States), stored under a random vault id, readable only by your own account under server-side rules, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never public. When you make a photo request, the request itself — your first name, the business, the service and the month — is stored on our servers so the business's link works for 14 days. We also count what happens in the app (screens opened, imports completed, requests made — never the photos) to see where people get stuck.

Who sees what

You. A business that fulfils your request sees only your first name and the service you named. Experts, cohorts and public cases each need a separate switch from you, which is off by default. There are no ads.

How long, and how to leave

We keep your data to measure your own change, and delete it when you delete your vault or after three years without you. Settings → Delete everything removes photos, clips, tags and anything learned from them within 30 days.

Age

VISUMOF is for adults, 18 and older.
